Need a good SQL Server developer that has good T-SQL skills (can write scripts, triggers, stored procedures). Also do performance tuning & troubleshooting. This will be 90% development and 10% Admin activities. Develop scripts in PowerShell and T-SQL to automate database maintenance tasks Index maintenance and defragmentation Support and troubleshoot SQL replication, log shipping, and AlwaysOn/mirroring Perform daily tasks such as researching alerts and system events Assist Integration with troubleshooting data load errors Review data scrubs from other departments and run them if approved or suggest modifications Monitor SQL backups and perform restores when necessary Monitor the performance of database hardware and software Requirements Bachelor Degree in Computer/IS related field or equivalent work related industry experience 3 to 5 years RDMS experience with emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server Proficient in writing, maintaining, and optimizing complex T-SQL code Proficient in writing SSIS packages for ETL operations Proficient with SQL Server client and administrative tools Proficient with Git source control Experience with SQL database backup/recovery Experience with BI, data warehouse, and PowerBI is preferred Capable of providing 24x7 on-call support and troubleshooting Experience with C# and VB.Net is a plus Knowledge in AWS is a plus
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Database AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
