6K a year About the job Our client, whom we will refer to as Confidential Company, is searching for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our company in the full-time role of Member Acquisition and Engagement Representative.
The Member Acquisition and Engagement Representative reports directly to the Manager, Membership Operations and Acquisition, serving as part of a team that delivers an exceptional member experience.
The Member Acquisition and Engagement Representative is primarily responsible for supporting the Membership, Marketing, and Communications team as we find new ways to grow membership, engage members, and create new benefits.

Essential functions Membership Acquisition Initiate outbound relationship building calls and emails to prospective and former members to drive member acquisition and grow the organization's membership.
Enhance information in our database to assist with prospecting and win-back campaigns.
Membership Engagement Initiate outbound calls and emails to current members to ensure they are aware of and using benefits of membership.
Process applications and renewals and assist in the onboarding process.
Assist in coordinating membership activities with departments, chapters and other groups to ensure accuracy and completeness of information produced.
Membership Relations and Support Receive and respond to inquiries regarding membership, event registrations, or other products and services and provide requested assistance while identifying opportunities to deliver additional value and grow our membership by consistently communicating our value proposition.
Provide feedback to the membership, marketing and communications team to enhance delivery of information and benefits to members and prospective members.
Database Management Assist in managing the membership database including account creation, data updates, dues payments, event registrations and reporting.
Provide reports and lists as needed.
Input prospect and new member data with a high level of accuracy.
Examine and suggest changes to procedures as necessary to maintain the accuracy of information in the database and conduct necessary procedures to remove incorrect, incomplete or outdated data.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and services, industry trends, and competencies and provide input and recommendations for increasing member value and satisfaction.
Adhere to our customer service expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate via phone and email.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments/teams/vendors.
Ability to adapt and work well in a changing environment.
Strong computer skills, proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, and database experience.
Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
Education and Experience required High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree or higher in general business, marketing, or accounting preferred.
3 years of previous experience as a customer service representative or in a customer service role required.
Previous experience working with a non-profit association preferred.
Knowledge of the accounting profession, business community preferred.
Proficiency with CRM software and the software currently in use by the organization preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
