com/ Position Summary Come build with us! We have created a new Maintenance Manager role to help us elevate our operations and to provide leadership to our growing maintenance team.
This team leadership position will initially manage 4-5 technicians and will play a key role in building the team and developing best-in-class maintenance operations as we grow.
The position reports to our Plant Manager.
We are seeking a hands-on injection molding machine maintenance manager who is highly skilled in the technical aspects of the role and who takes pride in coaching, mentoring, and developing their team.
A positive, motivational leadership style and a strong work ethic will be just as important as having the technical skills for this role.

The Maintenance Manager will manage and assist in the completion of the day-to-day activities in the molding plant, involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery including building lighting systems, injection molding machines, water tower systems and chillers, material systems, air compressor systems, and any other production equipment utilized in our manufacturing process.
Adherence to all Lean Practices, 5S, and Safety Programs to keep the facility clean, organized, and safe is required.
We will assist with relocating out-of-state new hires and can offer some flexibility on the timing of the start date to accommodate individual/family needs.

Responsibilities Provide leadership, coaching and development to the maintenance team and collaborate with the Plant Manager to support a peak performance environment.
Manage daily maintenance tasks and assure proper utilization of maintenance resources.
Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, proposed plans and projects, and facility expansion.
Plan budgets and schedule facility modifications, including cost estimates.
Coordinates the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to minimize downtime.
Responsible for implementing/maintaining preventive maintenance and support of facility.

Maintain and develop further planned maintenance programs for all infrastructures.
Offer support of the troubleshooting process for all technical issues with existing equipment.
Work with Operations Team to achieve LEAN objectives and implement plant-wide 5S strategies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
Education & Experience High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience is required An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus 4
years of manufacturing experience including strong experience with injection molding machine maintenance Pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC Commercial electrical experience is required; ability to read electrical schematics is a plus Experience that demonstrates the ability to read meters accurately and efficiently Knowledge of hydraulic and the ability to read hydraulic schematics is a plus Experience with one or more of the following injection machines is a plus:
Engle, Cincinnati Milacron, Krauss-Maffei, Husky, Haitian, Nissei Experience working as a service rep for an injection molding machine manufacturer is a plus (especially Engle or Cincinnati Milacron) Experience that demonstrates successfully leading a small team or a readiness to step into a role that leads others Experience that demonstrates the ability to be organized, independent, reliable, and efficient, and be a problem solver who can work with minimal supervision yet maintain accountability Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus We value diversity and commit to making hiring decisions based on the skills and traits needed to be successful in this role.
