Administrative Assistant

PSC Staffing is working with a successful leading innovator Company in hardware and software solutions to the worldwide restaurant industry. This position is a key and valued member of a dynamic sales team responsible for the growth of the company. The person we are seeking for this position will be is instrumental in support of the sales management team and serving our customers. The general functions include generating reports for sales management, preparing presentations, forwarding web and other leads to both inside and outside sales representatives and in some cases making introductory contact with customers and channel partners from web or telephone inbound leads when management is unavailable. The position is also responsible for processing/approving sales orders, re-orders, and returns into the company customer contact system, NetSuite.
In addition to administrative duties, this position will be responsible to gain expertise with the Company's product line. This position does not create, develop or manage the technical product.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support including; screening calls, processing sales orders, generating reports and presentations, scheduling and maintaining a calendar.
Perform routine clerical duties and provide general business support to the sales management team in support of business initiatives
Respond to and resolve routine partner inquiries
Maintain confidential company information
Desired Skills and Experience
Position Specific Competencies/Skills Required:
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook
Excellent organizational skills, time management and prioritizing
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy are critical
Proven communication skills in written and verbal formats
Comfortable speaking to customers and handling their needs over the phone
Learn the LRS products and ordering system in order to support sales management
Ability to work at a consistent level with minimal supervision and direction
Respond to all client e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner
Ability to anticipate the needs of the sales department and the customer
Experience/Education Required/Desired:
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in an administrative or customer support role preferred
3 or more years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in support of a sales department or group



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
