PSC Staffing is working with a successful leading innovator Company in hardware and software solutions to the worldwide restaurant industry. This position is a key and valued member of a dynamic sales team responsible for the growth of the company. The person we are seeking for this position will be instrumental in support of the outside sales team and serving our customers. The general functions include generating reports for an assigned sales rep(s), preparing presentations, forwarding web and other leads to assigned rep(s) and in some cases making introductory contact with customers from web or telephone inbound leads when assigned rep(s) is unavailable. The position is also responsible for processing sales orders and re-orders for accounts for assigned sales rep(s) into the company customer contact system, NetSuite.

In addition to administrative duties, this position will be responsible and gain knowledge and expertise for all Company products. This position does not create, develop or manage the technical product, but is the primary contact for support when assigned rep(s) customers need consultation on a new or existing solution.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
o Provide administrative support including; screening calls, processing purchase orders, generating reports and presentations, troubleshooting and customer needs assessment, scheduling and maintaining a calendar.
o Perform routine clerical duties and provide general business support to the sales rep(s) and in support of business initiatives
o Respond to and resolve routine sales inquiries
o Maintain confidential company information
o Participate in daily order approval to help expedite sales orders for the entire sales team
o Must be able to occasionally attend industry trade shows and have the ability to speak intelligently about the solutions and demonstrate the products
Desired Skills and Experience
o Candidate must be proficient in speaking and writing in English (Bilingual in Spanish is preferred)
o Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
o Excellent organizational skills, time management and prioritizing
o Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy are critical
o Proven communication skills in written and verbal formats
o Comfortable speaking to customers and handling their needs over the phone
o Learn the Company products and ordering system in order to support sales for assigned sales rep
o Ability to work at a consistent level with minimal supervision and direction
o Respond to all client e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner
o Ability to anticipate the needs of the assigned sales rep(s) and the customer
Experience/Education Required/Desired:
o Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in an administrative or support of a sales department or group
o 3 years experience in an administrative role, preferably in sales


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
